The Change Management Certification Program (CMP) consists of two components: Change Management Foundation and Change Management Practitioner.
Change Management Foundation (Part One)
Performance outcomes include:

- Assessing organizational change readiness and impact
- Leading organizational change initiatives
- Engaging stakeholders for successful change
Learning objectives include:
- Understanding how individuals learn and why resistance to change occurs
- Building effective change teams
- Applying stakeholder engagement and communication strategies
- Planning, implementing, and sustaining organizational change
- Assessing change readiness and addressing resistance
Change Management Practitioner™ (Part Two)
This component focuses on applying and tailoring change management guidance within real organizational and project environments.
Performance outcomes include:
- Developing individual learning to enable change
- Managing change within the project environment
- Delivering sustainable organizational change
- Preparing for the APMG Change Management Practitioner exam
Learning objectives include:
- Defining change requirements for all stakeholders
- Understanding governance within the project environment
- Applying organizational levers, adoption approaches, and reinforcement systems
Participants must successfully complete the Change Management Foundation component prior to completing the Practitioner section. Daily homework and practice exams are provided throughout the program.
