We’ve reimagined The MEARIE Group Retirement Program: Health and Dental Insurance! Effective November 1, 2025, the program has been refreshed to provide members with greater clarity, confidence, and value.
Going forward, there will be two streamlined plan options available to new retirees: Essential, offering grounded, comprehensive coverage for everyday needs, and Enhanced, delivering elevated coverage with added flexibility.
Key Plan Changes:
All retirees applying for coverage within 90 days of retirement are guaranteed to be accepted into the program—with no medical questions asked.
With three plan options designed by one of Canada’s leading insurers, Canada Life, you can select the level of coverage that’s right for you.
Enjoy preferred rates on robust plans that include extended healthcare, dental, vision care, prescription drug coverage, virtual care, and more.
