Understanding management rights within a collective agreement is essential for Managers and Front-Line Supervisors operating in a unionized environment. This program walks participants through the clauses of a typical collective agreement and provides practical guidance on how to interpret and apply them effectively.
Participants will learn how to avoid establishing unwanted precedents, prevent the erosion of management rights, and address undesirable past practices. Pre-work is required and must be completed prior to the session.
This program is facilitated by Oakbridges, an organization with extensive experience supporting and leading labour negotiations across a wide range of industries.
This course qualifies for 6.5 hours of CPD with HRPA upon successful completion.

Time: 8:30 AM – approximately 4:30 PM
Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast available starting at 7:30 AM (voucher provided at sign-in)
Cancellations received in writing ten (10) working days prior to the course date will receive a full refund, less a 20% service fee (plus 13% HST). No refunds will be issued after this period.
Substitution of registrants from the same company may be made up to the course date.
