This course helps bargaining teams prepare for collective bargaining by focusing on the critical work that must take place before negotiations begin. Participants explore how to align bargaining preparation with business objectives, gather and assess union issues, prepare financial and operational information, identify potential language concerns, and develop business continuity and contingency plans.
The session also covers how to prepare clear mandates for executive approval and understand each stage of the bargaining preparation process. This program is facilitated by Oakbridges, an organization with extensive experience supporting and leading labour negotiations.
