The Great Reset: Fostering Accountability Without Eroding Empathy

Recent upheavals, including the pandemic and the great resignation, shifted the power balance in manager/employee relationships. Many managers need to raise the bar, but they feel they have to trade off productivity in service of being compassionate. It’s time for a reset. We must return to an era of greater personal accountability without making ditch-to-ditch overcorrections that risk creating a toxic workplace.

Accountability and empathy aren’t mutually exclusive. In this session, Liane discussed practical techniques to increase accountability and drive results in a psychologically safe way.
